Doing Your Own InstallationDue to the complexity of the G20, G12, G9 and G6 we recommend that you purchase the installation option offered on the website. Should you decide to install yourself, please take note of all of the installation videos on the various product pages. For instance If you have a tight ceiling space you will need to assemble counter balances in a different order to that displayed in the instruction manual.  Smith Machine Counterbalancing in Low Ceiling Conditions (Under 2.5m)When installing the counter balance weights for the smith machine on the G9 and G12, you will need to conduct part of “Step 5” before you set the frame into an upright position. The step is same for the G9 and G12, although the below picture is of the G12.If you try to drop the long counter weights into the machine when it is already assembled into an upright position, then you wont have enough room between the ceiling and the machine to get the counterweights down into the frame. Simply place the counter weights into the frame before placing the frame into tan upright position. In some regions there may be an option to choose to have your machine professionally assembled and installed by a third party installation company.Please note that we engage with third-party installation companies and are reliant on their availability.  We therefore cannot guarantee any particular day or date for an installation service. Any date given for installation is an indication and will only be finalised by the installation companyif available,  an installation company will only finalise your installation booking after you have confirmed that you are happy with your delivery. Lead time around 14 to 20 days after delivery. This timing is very seasonal and its best to give us a call to chat about this as I can sometimes fast track this for you as soon as payment has been made. Installation is an Extra Charge of Between £300 and £699 Location and Item DependantWe use a highly proficient installation team and as such we pay them for being the professionals that they are. We have selected a team that will carefully put your equipment together so that you can enjoy many years of training. Installation times vary from between 2 hours and 7 hours depending on the item. Please ensure that all of your parts have arrived and are available for the installation company. You can check these off against the installation booklet that is included in the box.Should you be missing parts then please make immediate contact with us so that we can send you the missing spares.
